We are full time taxidermist. This is not a hobby for us. We are here to serve you in whatever way we can.

A certified taxidermist, as we are, means we have met certain criteria to become certified. This is an often over looked quality when searching for a taxidermist. Think of it like this. You need a lawyer. Would you go to a BAR certified lawyer or just grab a guy from “Joe’s Law School”? Then why trust your trophy to just anyone? Take it to a certified taxidermist that you know has the qualifications to do the job correctly. Ask if the taxidermist is in fact certified. Remember that you are paying not only for your trophy to be mounted, but also for the knowledge & talent that the taxidermist has worked long and hard to develop. Don't be afraid to shop around for a good taxidermist. Take some time and visit different taxidermy studios. Ask questions, compare work.  A quality driven taxidermist will have actual mounts for you to see.

You may have noticed that our name & logo have changed just slightly. We are now Soggy Bottom Taxidermy & Adventures. We are still the same quality company you have always had available for your taxidermy needs but we now are offering help with booking hunts in North America & Africa. We have been to Africa and have researched the animals & their anatomy & have the experience necessary to recreate your African trophy. Hunting in Africa does not cost as much as you may think. African adventures can be less expensive than hunting here in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico. We are able to get your trophies back home as well as provide the taxidermy information and services you will need. Please be sure to visit our African area for more information. We are currently building our outfitter base for North American hunts as well. These hunts include some of the most sought after game species including...Elk, Mountain Goat, Sheep, & Cougar just to name a few.

Thanks for taking time to visit our site. We hope you find the photos as exciting as we do and be sure to check back often as we add new photos regularly. We also hope you have found some information you can use during your on adventures. Feel free to call on us with any questions. We are here to help.
